KKL-JNF involved in effort to assist S. African farmer

With the help of Israeli agricultural expertiseand the support of the Roman Catholic Church South African NGO is aiming to professionally train rural residents

Keren Kayemeth Lelsrael- Jewish National Fund has partnered with the Catholie Church of South Africa
and the non-governmental organization Food and Trees in Africa to establish an agricultural school in the fertile region of Brits, North West Province. The school will be built on church-owned land and provide training in sustainable farming techniques.
delegation from Food and Trees in Africa arrived in Israel last week to visit farms, tour KKL-JNF
research station in the Arava and plant trees in the Sataf forest.
