Dorot Control Valves’ New ISO Standards

New environmental and safety standards at Dorot Control Valves

As a leading technological companies in the market, Dorot Control Valves (“Dorot”) has adopted two of the leading safety and environmental standards. After two years of preparations, Dorot successfully passed the certification audit, which certifies the company for both standards:

Standard OHSAS 18001 – Occupational Health and Safety

Managing safety and health in the workplace greatly improves control of risk factors, including through compliance with regulatory requirements in workplace health and safety.

Over the last two years, the factory has made dramatic changes in this area, while significantly raising the level of awareness to existing risks among management and employees.

Standard ISO 14001 – Environment

This standard provides tools for environmental management and is concerned with the daily management of the areas in which the organization’s activities impact on the environment.

Using an environmental management system, we ensure the achievement of our environmental goals, to demonstrate our environmental responsibility to the authorities and the community, and maintain commercial relations with nations that require an environmental policy.
Existing procedures were demonstrated and additional procedures were introduced to help us in managing safety in the organization, in order to meet the standard’s requirements.

Dorot Control Valves sees great importance in adopting these new standards, in addition to the quality standards that have been a part of the organization for many years.
