Israeli agriTech data company Prospera has raised $7 million in a Series A financing round led by Bessemer Venture Partners. The company enables farmers to maximize yields by using artificial intelligence and among other things they can analyze databanks related to yields including the price of seeds, irrigation costs, produce market prices etc.

 

The Tel Aviv base company, which has 30 employees, has developed computer vision technologies that continuously monitor and analyze plant health, development and stress. Propera’s technology captures climate and visual data from the field and provides actionable insights to growers via mobile and web
