Politicians Show Strong Interest in IPM Essen
The International horticultural fair draws interest from politicians and major purchasers
Christian Schmidt, Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture, is going to open the fair on January 27 with a welcoming address, as the patron of IPM ESSEN. This event will be held from January 27 to 30, 2015 at Messe Essen. The Federal Minister will invite representatives of the green associations to top-level talks after the traditional tour, in order to discuss topical horticultural subjects.
High-ranking politicians and a various major international purchasers have already secured their participation at IPM Essen, the World’s premier horticultural fair. An official delegation from Turkey and the entire Committee on Food and Agriculture of the German Bundestag have also announced their visits. Johannes Remmel, the Environment Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia will also take part in the opening ceremony.
IPM ESSEN is considered the most important ordering platform in the green sector worldwide. As such, a large number of top international purchasers from leading companies have already promised their participation in the fair. They appreciate, in particular, the wide array of the newest products from the plants, technology, floristry, as well as garden features areas for the coming season. Groups from Belgium, Kuwait, Israel, Brazil, Congo, the USA, Japan, Iran, Portugal, Russia, Australia, Ireland, Nigeria, and Turkey are expected.
Over 1,500 exhibitors are expected to present their innovative products and services in the plants, technology, floristry and Garden Features areas to trade visitors from all over the world.
