Athens Collaboration Agreement for Develops Smart Wastewater Solutions
The Waste Water management solutions in cooperation with Intrasoft for protecting the environment
athens water and waste water utility (eydap) and kando, the israeli based wastewater technology provider, during the course of watec 2017 exhibition& conference have agreed to deploy innovative waste water management solutions in cooperation with intrasoft international a leading european it solutions and services group.
in the presence of the greek deputy minister of environment mr. sokratis famelos, and the israeli minister of economy mr. eli cohen, the athens water supply and sewerage company (eydap) announced a collaboration agreement with kando, the israeli iot company that develops smart wastewater networks management solutions.
this agreement aims at a pilot to monitor and ultimately reduce the waste water pollution events caused by industrial sources. the project will be implemented by intrasoft, a leading european it solutions and services group which also signals the start of a broader collaboration between kando and intrasoft international
the greek deputy minister of environment mr. sokratis famelos, hailed the cooperation of the three companies by noting that: “this is a very important initiative in the area of internet of things between greece and israel, leveraging innovative technology for protecting the environment and decreasing the pollution impact. furthermore it is going to be implemented in one of the key utility networks in greece.”
mr eli cohen, israeli minister of economy congragulated the three partners for their initiative as a perfect opportunity for appluing the best combined expertise of greece and israel.
the chairman of eydap mr. konstantinos papadopoulos said: “as the biggest utility firm in europe, serving almost 5 million customers, this agreement is part of our major strategic direction of eydap to digitize our systems and is taken in collaboration with kando, a good example of israeli cutting edge technology and intrasoft international a trusted regional it solution provider.”
