For more than six decades, Plas-Fit has been manufacturing one of the least visible and most important parts of every agricultural water system: the fitting. What began in 1960 as “Plasim Fittings” at Kibbutz Merhavia is today the Plas-Fit Group, a multi-brand Israeli manufacturer of fittings, saddles, valves, filters and sprinklers for agriculture, landscaping and water infrastructure.
Built around saving the grower’s time
The idea behind Plas-Fit is simple: time is the grower’s most valuable resource, and time is worth a lot of money. Plas-Fit’s flagship Series 150 compression fittings for PE pipe connect without disassembling the fitting. With the Easy Seal system, the pipe goes in with less than 100 newtons of force, and no lubricant is needed. For larger diameters, Series 350 (75-110 mm) works with zero insertion force: the pipe is placed inside the fitting, and the seal is created when the nut is closed.
The Tavor clamp saddle, currently patent pending, takes the same approach to branching off a main line. The bolt and nut come pre-assembled with the seal, and installation time is cut by up to 70% compared with a standard saddle. Tavor saddles are UV and chemical resistant. Every solution we make is designed to save time and money, with assembly that is simple: so easy, so fast.

Solutions for real field conditions
A farm almost never runs on a single type of pipe. That is why Plas-Fit developed Unifit, a universal connector that links PE pipe to copper, PEX, PVC, galvanized steel and other materials, with a flexible mechanism for 15-34 mm diameters. For fertigation and acid injection, there are the Nir connectors. They are made of glass-fiber-reinforced polypropylene (PPGF) and resist concentrated, aggressive fertilizers.
International standards and approvals
Plas-Fit fittings are approved in markets with some of the strictest water standards in the world: DVGW (Germany), KIWA (the Netherlands), SVGW (Switzerland), WRAS (UK), and approvals in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. They also carry the Green Mark of the Standards Institution of Israel. The company operates under ISO 9001:2015, received the Israeli President’s Award for Outstanding Exporter for 2024, and earned an EcoVadis Silver Medal for sustainability.

One group, a complete water solution
Since 2022, Plas-Fit has grown into a group that covers every aspect of agricultural water. Tavlit, founded in 1971, manufactures manual, semi-automatic and automatic filters, sprinklers, mini-sprinklers and foggers, and supplies customers in more than 75 countries. Rain-Tal, from Kibbutz Barkai, produces Ein-Tal vibro-spreaders, turbo micro-sprinklers and misters for orchards, vineyards and greenhouses. Through Rain Line, the group is the exclusive Israeli partner of RAIN SpA, a natural link to Italy, this year’s host country.
Kobi Friedrich, Owner of Plas-Fit: “Growers all over the world face the same pressure: less water, fewer hands and less time. Our mission, born in the field, is simple: to save them time and money. That means every connection installs faster and lasts for years. EIMA is the right place to meet partners who share this goal.”
